China denies visa to IAS officer from Arunachal Pradesh

The Chinese embassy has denied giving visa to a senior IAS officer who belongs to Arunachal Pradesh. This is a clear indication that they actually assert Arunachal as Chinese part. If they would give visa any Arunachali, it would be like their acceptance of Indian sovereignty on Arunachal Pradesh.
The government of India is still silent on this matter. BJP MP, Kiren Rijiju, said: I am shocked. I don’t understand why the Indian Government is not reacting to this.
The government of India, after taking initiative by PM Manmohan Singh himself, had planned to arrange a first ever visit of 107 IAS officers to China. Now, because of the visa problem to the senior IAS officer from Arunachal Pradesh, C Ropianga, the Indian Government had to cancel their visit to China.

According to Arunachali representatives, the UPA government is not taking necessary steps in this matter. This is a matter of great concern because China has a habit to claim their sovereignty on Arunachal Pradesh. India’s ignorance of this matter would encourage China to believe it can get away with anything as it has been doing for some time.
